Guarantee Petroleum Company Limited holds a 55% equity stake in this asset, while its co-awardee, Owena Oil & Gas Limited, owns 45%. In 1986, Gulf (now Chevron) drilled an exploratory well on the site. We have successfully completed an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the field. Our inclusive Community Relations Strategy has fostered strong local support.

We are now proposing to drill a new well (Ororo-2) instead of proceeding with our original plan to re-enter Ororo-1.
