We Are Guarantee Petroleum Company Limited
Guarantee Petroleum is an independent oil and gas company owned by 48 reputable Nigerians with extensive experience in both the oil and gas sectors, as well as diverse industries. Incorporated in 2000, the company has a broad objective of conducting commercially viable operations across all segments—upstream, midstream, and downstream—of the petroleum and energy sectors.
Our wealth of technical and managerial expertise, along with strategic alliances with renowned companies, uniquely positions us to capitalize on our vertical integration strategy as opportunities in Nigeria’s energy sector emerge.
We bid for a marginal field in the upstream sector in 2002 and successfully secured a field allocation from the Federal Government in 2003. A Farm-Out Agreement was signed with NNPC/Chevron on March 18, 2004.
The Ororo marginal oil field in OML 95, located offshore Ondo State, Nigeria, was jointly awarded to Guarantee Petroleum and Owena Oil and Gas in 2003, with a 55% and 45% stake respectively, with Guarantee as the operator. Guarantee Petroleum Limited aims to pursue commercially viable opportunities across all segments of the petroleum and energy sectors, with a current focus on upstream exploration, production, and natural gas utilization.
